AMS360 setup instructions for Windows 7

Following are the settings required for IE8 to run AMS 360 Online.

WORKAROUND:

Using Internet Explorer 8 in compatibility mode and adding ams360.com as a

trusted site can restore AMS 360 function.

[Compatibility View]

1.) From Internet Explorer go to Tools > Compatibility view settings.

2.) In the address box type ams360.com or your domain for in-house

3.) Select Add

4.) Select Close

[Trusted Sites]

5.) Go to Tools

6.) Internet Options

7.) Select the Security tab

8.) Select Trusted sites (green check mark)

9.) Select the Sites button

10.) Uncheck Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this

zone

11.) In the “Add this website to the zone:” add *.ams360.com

12.) Select Add

13.) Select Close

14) Change Security – Internet settings to at least Medium with

Compatibility Mode enabled for the AMS 360 URL

15.) Select OK

Note : In the vast majority of cases, adding ams360.com both in the IE8 Compatibility View Mode and Trusted Sites fields can restore AMS 360 functionality. However, IE8 is still not technically supported with versions of AMS 360 lower than v4.x.
