- Run rkill.com
- Install Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware and run a full scan.
- Remove the found infections.
- Run a command windows, CMD and type the following:
cacls c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts /G everyone:f - Press enter.
- Type the following:
attrib -s -h -r c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts - Press enter.
- Delete the C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\HOSTS file.
- Open notepad and paste test below into file named hosts located in the same directory.

5. Make sure to update the computer with the latest windows updates.
Open Internet Explorer
- Click Tools
- Internet Options
- Click connections tab and then the lan settings button
- Uncheck all boxes
- Click apply and ok
- reboot
- run quick scan again to make sure there are no infections
